SafeSteps at Home was founded by Shell Fitton and Sam Tattersall – two passionate health and social care professionals with many years of combined experience supporting individuals and families.
Throughout our careers we have seen first-hand the difference that compassionate, person-centred care can make, but we have also recognised the challenges families often face when searching for consistent, trusted support.
That is why we decided to create SafeSteps at Home.
“Our aim is to build a service that feels personal, professional and dependable – where people are supported with dignity, kindness and genuine human connection”.
We are both NVQ Level 5 qualified within Health & Social Care and remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safeguarding and compassionate practice.
SafeSteps is more than a business to us – it is something we genuinely care about and are proud to be building for our local community.
We listen to your preferences, honour your routines, and tailor our care plans around what makes you feel most comfortable and respected.
Quality care takes time. We prioritise meaningful interactions and genuine companionship, ensuring visits are never rushed.
We keep families fully informed with clear, open, and consistent communication so you always know your loved one is in safe hands.
